Born on June 4, 1911, in East Stroudsburg, he was the son of the late Arlington and Martha (Bond) Fish. Raised in Tannersville, he lived most of his life in the Stroudsburgs.
He was employed as a truck driver by Highway Express Line Inc., Stroudsburg, and retired from Stroudsburg School District where he was a custodian.
He was a life member of Fraternal Order of Eagles 1106, Stroudsburg, and a member of Grace Lutheran Church, East Stroudsburg.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by one daughter, Jeannette Detrick of Henryville; eight grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren; two brothers, Sherwood Fish of McMichaels, and Arlington Fish Jr. of Kunkletown; and two sisters, Lorraine Miller in New Jersey, and Leona Storm in Georgia. He was preceded in death by one daughter, Carol Pensyl.
