I never got the privilege of meeting my mother in-law she passed on when I was about 3 years old. But her mom better known as Meme to her grandchildren and great grandchildren made sure no one forgot who their mom was. From the stories Meme told me when I first married her grandson Jeff, she states the Nancy was the adventuresome type. Loved to do things, go places, dance and most of all her family. I remember Meme telling me one time that when she would visit Nancy, she would find her in the middle of the floor playing with the kids and the house a wholly mess. Sometime in between one of the middle children her and Dick had (Five total) she was diagnosed with Cushing's Disease, which mutated into cancer. Less then one year after the birth of her youngest son in November 1963 she lost her battle in University Hospital (better known now as U of M) in Ann Arbor Michigan.
