James2, b. 1769 NC, was known as "Junior". He mar. Polly (possibly Kirkpatrick), who were William(3's parents. By April 1818, "James2 bought 125ac on east-side of Stones's River, and on the waters of Suggs Creek in Wilson Co. TN."
Their children:
John, b 1895 NC
Catherine, b 1807 NC;
William,b 1809;
Thomas Kirkpatrick, 1811;
Mary Ann 1813;
James Henderson,1818.
It is likely that James2 is bur. in this cemetery w/o a stone, or so old or broken and not legible.
William was married three times:
1)Margaret N. Newman, m.in 1828;
one child, Margaret A. Yandell, was born November 20, 1829 and died September 25, 1839 of an illness.
2) Jane Barr,m. 1830 Wilson Co TN- d.1835- d.in childbirth when James Newman Yandell was two years old.
3) Jane Davis, m. 1835.
In 1850 Wilson Co. TN census, Wm. had three children in HH: James 18y; Sarah 14y; and Rebecca Clay 7y.
(James Newman Yandell had a large family in TX; but d. 1897, OK)
