Funeral services for Ada Naomi Stilson, 76, a native of this area, will be at 1:30 p.m., Friday from the Colfax Baptist Church.
The Rev. James Estes will officiate with burial in the Colfax Cemetery. Mrs. Stilson died yesterday at Whitman Community Hospital here.
Born May 23, 1894 at Diamond, Washington, she lived her entire life in the Colfax-Diamond community. She married Philo Stilson in Colfax and he died in 1938. Mrs. Stilson was a member of the Congregational Church, the Congregational Ladies Aid, the Grandmothers Club and Senior Citizens.
Surviving are three daughters, Mrs Viola Deysenroth, Colfax; Mrs. Shirley Brannon, Pullman, Washington, and Mrs. Virginia Caldwell, Pomeroy, Washington; one sister, Mrs. Viola Chastain Seattle; six grandchildren, and two great grandchildren.
