Mrs. Catherine Archer Corbin, 48, of Franklin, died Wednesday at the Rockingham memorial hospital, Harrisonburg, Va., following a short illness.
Born on Sept. 2, 1913, at Ripley, the daughter of M.C. and Myrtle Archer, she was a member of the Epworth Methodist Church of Ripley.
She is survived by her husband, Page Corbin, one son, David, both of Franklin; a brother, Dr. J. L. Archer of Macomb, Il.; and three sisters, Mrs. Helen Thrasher of Mullens, Mrs. Hazel Hagedorn of Grove City, O., and Mrs. Mary Hupp of Ravenswood.
Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m., Friday, at the Vail funeral home, Ripley, with the Rev. Paul Beal officiating. Burial will be in Kenna.
