Dale Eugene Adams, 28, of Volant RD 2 died at 10:50 a.m. yesterday in the Presbyterian University Hospital in Pittsburgh of a kidney ailment of seven years. He was born in Plain Grove Township July 31, 1941, to Clyde N. and Gertrude McKissick Adams. He was a graduate of Wilmington Area High School and attended Slippery Rock State College. Prior to his illness he was employed by the Asplundh Tree Expert Co. Mr. Adams was a member of North Plain Grove UP Church. Surviving are his parents; three sisters, Mrs. Galen (Alice) Clapper of New Castle and Mary and Esther, at home; three brothers, J. Lawrence of Volant RD 1, Paul C. with the Army at Ft. Stewart, Ga., and Lloyd R. with the Army in Vietnam. Friends will be received at the Grace Cunningham Smith Funeral Home, Leesburg, from 7 to 9 p.m. today and 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. tomorrow. A service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Monday in the North Plain Grove UP Church by the Rev. Ralph McCandless. Interment will be in Plain Grove UP Church Cemetery.
