Lillian Elizabeth Jobe passed away peacefully at her Ridgecrest home on the afternoon of December 24, 2012. She was 90 years old.

A memorial service was held December 29th at the Seventh Day Adventist Church in Ridgecrest.

Born April 5, 1922, to Reginald Jobe and Louie McCoy Jobe of Dike, Texas, she was the fourth of five children and grew up in Kilgore, Texas.

Elizabeth lived in Yuma, Arizona and Las Vegas, Nevada, prior to relocating to Ridgecrest in 2002.

She loved visiting the Ridgecrest Senior Center and traveling to the Gold Strike Hotel and Casino in Jean, Nevada, to hear her favorite singing group, the "Two Smooth" band. She appreciated and looked forward to home visits from the Seventh Day Adventist and St. Michael's Churches.

She got great joy from dining at Torres Steak House and Casey's Steak and Barbecue. She was an old soul with a heart of gold and an iron will. Elizabeth never met a stranger and loved life to the fullest. She will be greatly missed and remembered by all who knew and loved her.

Elizabeth is survived by her three children, daughter Glenna Moser and son Ronnie Lee, both of Kilgore, Texas, and daughter Debra Basham of Las Vegas. She also leaves behind two special nieces, Sharon Jobe and Sandy Moore, as well as 14 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren and seven great great grandchildren, some she talked about often and others she had never met.

She was preceded in death by her parents Reginald and Louie Jobe, husband Russell Lee, and all of her brothers and a sister.
