Mrs. Bradshaw was born on May 10, 1925, in Staunton a daughter of the late Howard W., Sr. and Lyda (Myers) Harner.
Dorothy was a member of Central United Methodist Church. She attended Dunsmore Business College and retired in 1990 from the Valley Program for the Aging Services, where she was employed as a secretary.
Surviving are two sons, Bland E. Bradshaw of Colorado and Howard W. Bradshaw of Richmond; two daughters, Brenda S. Hancock and husband Burt of Columbus, Ohio and Elizabeth A. Elsamman of Staunton; a brother, Howard W. Harner, Jr. of Staunton and two granddaughters, Hilary H. Phillips of Dayton, Ohio and Meredith Hancock of Columbus, Ohio.
Services will be private in Thornrose Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 2:00-5:00 p.m. Monday, March 11, 2013 at the residence of her daughter, 637 Essex Drive, Staunton.
It is suggested those desiring make memorial contributions to the charity of one's choice.
