Stanford - Rudolph Kennedy, 93, of Stanford, died Saturday at Christian Care Center.
Born April 23, 1913, in Marion County, he was the son of the late Peter Faulkner and Lula Sprinkles Kennedy. He was an employee of the state highway department and a farmer. He was a member of New Beginnings Methodist Church.
Survivors include two sons, Rudolph Kennedy Jr. of Bridgeport, Va., and Mike Kennedy of Stanford; four daughters, Juanita Henshaw of Colorado, Jo Ann McCarthy of Williamstown, Charlotte Ives of Florida and Sheila Grigsby of Stanford; two sisters, Evelyn Brown of Advance, Ind., and Loraine Holtzclaw of Stanford; 12 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a son, Ronald Kennedy.
Services will be 2 p. m. Tuesday at Spurlin Funeral Home by the Revs. Donna Jones and Jim Reed. Burial will be in Buffalo Springs Cemetery. Pallbearers will be grandsons.
