Henry Van Oort, one of the oldest settlers in Holland township and, in fact one of the earliest of Sioux county pioneers, died at his home in Holland township Friday morning after a long illness.
While his death was hardly a surprise it was nevertheless a shock to the many friends of the deceased who had al ways found him a faithful friend and kind neighbor.
