Indianapolis - Sylvia P. Williams, 85, of Indianapolis, formerly of Bedford, died Wednesday at Community East Hospital in Indianapolis.

Born Sept. 16, 1905, in Bedford, she was the daughter of Charles Watson and Anna Pearson. She came to Indianapolis in 1937. She was an office worker for South Town Photo in Indianapolis. She also worked for the Ayres and Strauss companies. She retired in 1967. She was a member of the Southport Baptist Church and the Ladies Florist Association of Indianapolis.

Survivors include her husband, Vernon H. Williams; two sons V. Harold Williams of Michigan and Warren P. Williams of Indianapolis; and four grandchildren.

Services will be 11:30 a.m. Saturday at the G.H. Herrmann Madison Avenue Funeral Home in Indianapolis.

Friends may call 2-4 p.m. and 5-8 p.m. today at the funeral home.

Memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association and the American Cancer Society.
