Mrs. Stella Irene Pell Vaughn, age 90, of Pilot Mountain, died Sunday, May 10, 2009 at her home. She was born March 30, 1919 in Stokes County to the late Newell Franklin Pell Sr. & Ella Cook Pell. Mrs. Vaughn was a retired homemaker and a dedicated member of Westfield Friends Meeting and USFW. She enjoyed crocheting many things for her family and friends.
She is survived by many nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, Mrs. Vaughn was preceded in death by her husband, James Gideon Vaughn, sisters, Bertie Brinkley, Lettie Easte, Odell Wilson & Iva Jessup and brothers, Lester Pell, Henry Pell & Junior Pell.
