Mrs. Katherine "Kitty" Hannegan Tucker, 80, of Hampton died in a local hospital late Friday night.

Mrs. Tucker was born on Feb 14, 1885 in Hampton, and was the daughter of James Madison and Martha Hannegan. She was a charter member of the Hampton Happy Home Assembly of God Church. Husband R. E. Tucker Sr of Hampton, five sons, Madison I. Tucker of El Dorado, Harold Tucker of Hampton, Robert E Tucker Jr of Smackover, Dan Tucker of Luling, La., and James Max Tucker of San Antonio, Tex., two daughters Mrs. Madrid Newton of Hampton, and Mrs. Melba McGaugh of Longview, GTex., one brother J. M. Hannegan of Hampton, one sister, Mrs. Rhoda Ables of Hampton; 23 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. Sunday in the Hampton Assembly of God Church with Rev. Jewell Murry, Rev Erling Saxelid and Rev Alvis Dickinson officiating.

Burial under the direction of Benton Funeral Home of Fordyce will follow in the Pickett Cemetery near Hampton.
