Private Stockton Cavalry
Private Co C 10th Texas Infantry
Confederate States Army
CIVIL WAR
b. 05/01/1841 Scott County, Arkansas
Died in Parker County, Texas
Note from Keith McCrary
I am removing William Morrison from the Mountainair Cemetery for the following reasons:
1. He died in Porter County Texas and his wife was still living at the time and there was no reason for him to not be buried there.
2. He died in 1876 and Mountainair did not exist until 1903. There would not have been a cemetery there in 1876.
3. I had requested a photo of his grave stone and the Find-a-Grave volunteer could not fine his grave and the cemetery records do not have him listed as being in the cemetery.
