Carter W. "Dub – Bubba – Paw-Paw Moss" died March 5, 2013. Graveside service was held at The Historic Oakland Cemetery of Atlanta with Rev. Dottie Cook officiating.

Mr. Moss is survived by daughters and sons-in-law Margie Lawrence and her husband Jim Lawrence of Arlington, Texas and Shirley Perdue and her husband Steve (Graham) Perdue of Smyrna, Georgia; grandchildren Anne Lawrence, Donna (Cayce) Stamps, Billy (Jen) Perdue and Bobby (Bambi) Perdue; great grandchildren Payton Stamps, Lyla Stamps, Stevie Stamps and Gray Perdue; niece Jean Perdue; nephews Charles Moss, Jim Donaldson, Bob Donaldson; great nephew Dan Moore and other great nieces and nephews.

Mr. Moss was a member of the Peachtree Corners Christian Church of Norcross, Georgia and a member of South Hills Christian Church, Ft. Worth, Texas.

He was retired from AT&T long lines and was a member of the Telephone Pioneers of America, 552 Engineer Heavy Ponton Battalion and a charter member of the Kennesaw Mountain Beagle Club. Mr. Moss was a U.S. Army Veteran serving during WWII receiving the Bronze Star and The Purple Heart.
