Miss Mary Cornelia Carter, daughter of the late Henry and Margaret Carter of Frederick county, died suddenly Tuesday, Dec 18, 1934, at the home of her nephew, Robert Etzler, Linwood. She was aged 67 years.

A brother, Charles Carter, Peotone, IL, and the following sisters survive: Mrs. Henry Appleby, Mrs. James Appleby, Mrs. Charles Koontz, Frederick; Mrs. Taylor Etzler, Mrs. Emory Smith, Liberty; also a number of nieces and nephews.

She was a member of the United Brethren Church of Linwood.

The funeral was from the home of her nephew, Robert Etzler, this morning at 10 o'clock, with further services in Linganore ME church, Unionville; and interment was in the adjoining cemetery. The Rev. Mr. Bowman of the Linwood Church officiated, assisted by the Rev. Mr. Paul of the Linganore Church. Nephews acted as pallbearers.
