Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, March 12, 2013, in Howe and Yockey Funeral Home, Shelbyville, IL with Rev. Phil Glick and Rev. Lynette DeAtley officiating. Visitation from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. Monday. Burial will be in Glenwood Cemetery, Shelbyville, IL.
Memorials may be given to the Lakewood United Methodist Church or Laurel Jean Walden Blind Ministry.
Mr. Nohren was born on December 16, 1915, in Galton, Illinois, the son of Theodore W. Nohren, Sr. and Ethel Biggs Nohren.
He was a lifelong farmer. Tuck attended the Lakewood United Methodist Church. He married Evelyn Ruth Miller on February 25, 1940. She died on February 26, 2013.
He is survived by his son, Richard L. Nohren and Scott M. Nohren and wife, Valerie; daughter, Mary A. Glick and husband, Jim; brother, Ward Nohren and wife, Nita; sisters-in-law, Betty Nohren, Lenora Nohren and Wilma Nohren; seven grandchildren; four step-grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; five step-great-grandchildren and three great-great- grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Evelyn; brothers, Merle Nohren, Montelle "Nip" Nohren, John E. "Ed" Nohren, Wilbur "Web" Nohren, Warren "Bush" Nohren and Robert "Bob" Nohren; sisters, Florence Monroe, Goldie Wills, Wandalee Forner and one in infancy and one granddaughter, Gina Marie Nohren.
