Jean J. Borowy Baginski, 80, of Erie, formerly of 631 East Third Street, died Tuesday, March 15, 2005, at Beverly Healthcare Eastern Reserve. She was born April 22, 1924, in Erie, daughter of the late Polikarp and Helen (Czajkowski) Borowy. She retired from Hamot Medical Center where she worked in the Dietary Department. She was a member of St. Hedwig Catholic Church. She enjoyed cooking and baking. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Joseph Baginski in 2003, two sisters; Mary Nakoski, Anna Nowacinski, three brothers; Harry, Stanley and Joseph Borowy, one brother-in-law, Richard Lynch. Survivors include one daughter, Gloria J. Sullivan and husband Thomas of Erie, one son, Ronald Baginski and his wife Anna of Erie, two granddaughters, Pamela Fish and husband Bradley of Erie, Kimberly Toy and husband Thomas of Erie, four great-grandchildren, Erika and Matthew Fish and Kristi and Madison Toy all of Erie, one sister, Hattie Lynch of Erie. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends may call at the Edward J. Garr Funeral Home, 459 East 12th Street, Erie, PA 16503, Friday from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. Services will be at the funeral home Saturday at 9:30 a.m. followed by a mass of Christian burial at 10:00 at St. Hedwig Catholic Church. Burial will be at Calvary Cemetery.
