Joseph Jr. was the son of Joseph Batcher Sr. and his wife Mary Christina Warner. Joe was first generation American French and (Prussia)/German. It is said that he was the first white boy born in Oceana Co., MI.

2. Joseph married 2) Louisa Marianne (Christopher) Few and Fox (1/12/1859-60-2/9/1906) on 4/16/1902 at St. Vincent Church in Pentwater, Oceana, MI. Joseph was her 3rd husband. Louisa was buried in the Weare Township Cemetery, Block 13 Lot 7.

Nellie Batcher (2/21/1905-9/5/1905). MI Death Certificate states "Infant female" as name on death certificate. Father is Joseph. MI Death Certificate states "Female Batcher" (2/21/1905-9/8/1905), buried in North Weare Cemetery.
