Dennis was born August 10, 1946 in Oliver Springs, he was the son of Charles and Louise Davis, now both deceased.
Dennis is survived by his wfe of 46 years, Patricia Ann Davis; his daughter, Shellia Ann Lane and husband, Floyd Lee Lane of Oliver Springs, by a son, Steven Davis of Oliver Springs, and three grandchildren, James Floyd Lane and Peggy Anne Lane both of Oliver Springs,and Margaret Denice Ally Davis of Kingston.
He is also survived by four brothers; Carl Ray Davis and wife, Mary of Kingston, Mitchell Davis and wife, Elaine, Wayne Davis and Alford Davis all of Oliver Springs; two sisters, Joann Lampton and husband, Howard of Knoxville, and Judy Hypes and husband, Howard oMontgomery, W.VA.
In addition to his parents a sister and six broters, Glenda Davis, Ronnie Davis, Kenny Davis, Clifford Davis, Jack Davis, Dale Davis and Harold Davis died earlier.
A graveside service will be held at 4:00 pm, Friday, March 8, 2013, at the home. "PJ" Paul Jackson will say a few words and granddaughter, Peggie Lane will recite a poem for her grandfather. No other services will be held. Sharp Fneral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
