James Russell, age 68, of Payson Star Route, died January 13th
in Gila General Hospital. He was a retired miner and had worked
for Kennecott Copper Company and Phelps Dodge. He was born
in Chickasha Oklahoma April 25th, 1911 and had resided in Globe
Miami area for the past six years. He is survived by a daughter
Viola Russell of California. Three sons; John, Jesse and George
all of California. Two brothers Troy of Tucson and Oscar of
Texas. Two sisters Margie Duelfer and Alice Horne also of California.
Funeral services were Friday in the Palmer Globe Mortuary with burial in the Globe Cemetery.
