Murray, UT-Surrounded by his family, Wayne Apgood, age 82, passed away due to complications from cancer on 3/2/13 in the home he built.

He was born in Lund, ID on 10/3/30 to Sylvia and Leland Apgood, but spent most of his childhood in Idaho Falls. A Veteran of the Korean War, he served in the Army for four years in Korea, Japan, and Germany. Upon returning home, he married Ethel Skinner on 5/3/54 in Elko, NV. They moved to Salt Lake City, UT later that year.

In Utah, he and his brother Eldon built many award winning homes in the Murray-Holiday area. He continued his civil service as a letter carrier for the US postal service for 25 yrs. He was a loving husband, father of two, grandfather to five, as well as brother, uncle, friend, and neighbor to many.

He loved taking road trips with his family. He loved working with his hands and always had the "right tool (or two) for the job". He and Ethel loved music and they always rooted for the Utah Jazz.
