Suggested edit: Hello, my name is Tracy Blevins, I was born Tracy C. Lilly to James Robert and Geraldean Lilly in 1970. My daddy is the son of Emmett Robert Lilly, Grandson of Robert Pomp Lilly, and Great Grandson of William H. Lilly. I have a question, but before I ask, I want you to know, I have visited McMillen Cemetery, once, several years ago, and now that it was very overgrown, and monuments were broken and missing. That being said, I know all indication is that William Henry Lilly is buried there, and that he was b. about 1831 and died 1913. No specific dates. I have been looking through the Log Cabin newspaper from the early 1900s. Around 1911-1913 there is mention of W. H. Lilly of Kendall visiting Higdon, Arkansas(Which I know he did, from documents, I actually believed he lived there). I am reading out to you, because like you and everyone else, I have always assumed his name was William Henry Lilly, but can't remember ever seeing Henry Spelled out. I am curious about the name Henry, becasue I found a death notice in the Feb. 5, 1913 edition of the Log Cabin paper, the mentioned Harvey Lilly of Kendall died (date is roughly Jan. 31, 1913). I created a memorial for Harvey Lilly in McMillen Cemetery, then remembered that William "Henry" Lilly died the same years and from I am seeing was living in Kendall about that time. My question is: Have you ever seen Henry aurally documented as his Middle name or is it possible that this Harvey is William H. Lilly? Sorry that I am so wordy. But I am wondering if this could be the actual date of William Lilly's death....Tracy B....
