Anne E. Ogin
Anne E. Ogin, long time Boron resident, passed away at a Lancaster Hospital on August 5, 1999.
Surviving Anne are daughters, Janet Roper and Lois Gunter; grandchildren, Brian and Rennie Gunter, Jason and William Carter and Billy Adair; great-grandchildren, Krista Gunter, Kyle Gunter, Simon and Dakota Carter; Anne's brother Monsignor Francis J. Pointek of Tehachapi; sister Kathryn F. Chavez of Boron and other nieces and nephews.
Ann and Kathryn owned and operated the Boron Department Store from 1949 to 1979. She was active in St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Boron. Mass was held there on August 11 and interment followed at Joshua Memorial Park, Lancaster.
