Contributor Gary Wilson kindly adds, "Mary A. Croy married Thomas F. H. Morton on March 7, 1854 in Pennsville, Morgan Co., Ohio. They moved to Salt Lake City, Utah in 1865. They had 8 children: Jemima, Hannah Ann, Flora Genevieve, Laura Geneva, Prudence, John William, Mellisa and William Townsend.
Thomas F. H. Morton was convicted of unlawful cohabitation-polygamy, on Sept. 26th, 1885, 3rd district court, docket # 233. He was fined and spent time in jail. Thomas had a least two wives, maybe more!
Mary A. (Croy) Morton was granted a divorce and married George W. Criner on December 9, 1895 in Salt Lake City, Salt Lake Co., Utah. They moved to Kent, King Co., Washington where they spent the remainder of their lives."
