Mrs. Lucy Mae Needham, 79, of 702 Maple St., Murphysboro died Monday in St. Mary's Hos pital in East St. Louis after an illness of three months.

She was born in Enfield Jan. 30, 1884. She was married in Gorham in 1905 to James Needham.

Mrs. Needham was a member of the Pentecostal Church.

She leaves her husband; a daughter, Mrs. Bessie Chabo of Benton Harbor, Mich.; sons
Fred of East St. Louis, James of Sandoval, Ardell of Marion and Earl of Grady, Ark.; and a sister, Mrs. Ethel Shaw of Murphysboro.
