Born in Harmony, June 18, 1947, she was the daughter of the late Alfred and Jennie Brenneman Kane.
She was employed at Victim Outreach Intervention Center for 23 years as a counselor advocate. She also held a variety of responsible decision-making positions.
Surviving are her companion, Joseph Pullano of Butler; a son, Lawrence J. Convery III of East Brady; three daughters, Mrs. Michael (Margie) Wolfe of West Sunbury, Mrs. Tim (Millie) Zier of Butler and Mrs. Bernie (Mary Jane) Jordan of Karns City; and 10 grandchildren. Two brothers and a sister also survive.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Lawrence J. Convery Jr., who died March 25, 2001; and a brother.
CONVERY - Friends of Susan J. Convery, who died at Tuesday, June 7, 2005, will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday at MARTIN FUNERAL HOME, 429 Center Ave. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Friday at the funeral home with the Rev. Wayne Bell, pastor of West Sunbury United Presbyterian Church, officiating.
