Born September 11, 1917, he was the son of the late Broadus Ervin Quinn, Sr. and the late Stella (George) Quinn.
A veteran of the U.S. Army having served in Europe during World War II, Mr. Quinn retired from Independent Life Insurance Company, was formerly an antique refinisher and upholsterer, and was of the Baptist faith.
He is survived by his wife, Ruth Davis Quinn; a daughter, Sandy Renee Scarborough of Spartanburg; two stepdaughters, Sheila Davis of Spartanburg and Patricia Burton and husband Mac of Columbia; a stepson, Danny Davis and wife Maude of Greer; two sisters, Helen Sizemore Henderson of Roebuck and Sarah Michaud of Virginia; a brother, Billy Quinn, Jr. of Spartanburg; two step-grandchildren, Andrew Burton and Amanda Burton Dawes and husband Josh.
He was predeceased by his first wife, Evelyn Jewel (Hutto) Quinn; two brothers, Ervin and Jim Quinn; and a sister, Corrie Epps Kelly.
Visitation followed graveside services at 2:00 p.m. Monday, March 14, 2005 at Greenlawn Memorial Gardens.
