WYLIE MAN DIES EARLY TODAY IN SHERMAN HOSPITAL
J. R. ANDERSON, 66, WELL-KNOWN SOUTHEAST COLLIN MAN
      J. R. Anderson, 66 years of age, died at 1:10 a. m. today (Thursday) of pneumonia and other complications in St. Vincent's Sanitarium, Sherman, after an eight weeks' illness. The deceased lived at Wylie, this county, but was taken to the Sherman Hospital a few hours before his death. He had been a patient in that institution before, but had been removed to his home, until his condition grew worse, when he was taken to the hospital again for treatment.
      The Crouch Funeral Home of this city is directing the burial arrangements. The funeral will be held in Wylie at 4 o'clock Friday afternoon, at the residence, conducted by Rev. Wilhite and Rev. Fitzhugh Talbot. Burial will be in t he Wylie Cemetery.
      Joseph Raymond Anderson was was born April 7, 1871 in New Canton, Tenn., the son of Martin and Barbara (Fleener) Anderson. Forty-eight years age he came to this county where he has since resided. He is survived by several children, as follows: Olive Anderson, at home; Mrs. J. B. Gray, of Allen; Mrs. J. F. Jones, Mrs. Robert N. Lamberth of Falfurias. Three brothers and three sisters also survive: Claude, Fred, and Richard Anderson; Mrs. Fred Skelton, Mrs. C. B. Poe and Mrs. Charles Conant. His wife preceded him in death.
      Active pallbearers for the funeral services are nephews of the deceased as follows: E. M. Skelton, Hugh F. Skelton, Martin Butler, Paul Anderhub, William Anderhub, Leon Anderhub, Ray Anderhub and Arthur Skelton.
