Born at Caldwell County, KY on July 6, 1832. Resided at Chappell Hill, Washington County, TX in 1860 with wife and one child; occupied as a merchant and bookkeeper.
Described as 5'11", with dark hair, dark complexion, and gray eyes. Mustered into Company A at Brenham, TX on March 15, 1862 by S. S. Hosea. Listed on July-August 1862 Muster Roll as discharged with final stgatement given, and
received no pay. Discharged on July 2, 1862. Returned, apparently. (Jones Roster) Member of Terry Lodge, Regimental Masonic Chapter as of April 1863. Occupied as manager and/or superintendent of cotton press after the war. Died at Houston, TX on June 13, 1898 due to hepatitis.
