"MRS. HARRY V. ALBAUGH. Mrs. Gertrude Mary Albaugh, widow of Harry Vinson Albaugh died Saturday evening at the home of a daughter, Mrs. Margaret A. Runkies, 519 Grant Place. She was 91 years of age. She wasthe oldest daughter of the late William and JoAnna Grimes Adams, a prominent Frederick County family, and was held in high esteem by all who knew her, and was familiarly called, 'Granyal' by her grandchildrenand all who were close to her. She possessed a wonderful sense of humor and wit and brought cheer and comfort to those who passed her way. Surviving are three daughters Mrs. Margaret A. Runkles, with whom she lived, Mrs. J. Malcom Moxley, Baltimore; Miss Helen V. Albaugh, athome; two brothers, David A. Adams and John C. Adams both of Buckeystown; two sisters, Mrs. Maria Houck, near Woodsboro; Mrs. Sidney Six, Rocky Ridge; four granddaughters, Mrs. Phyllis E. Castle, Hagerstown; Mrs. Geraldine L. Long, Baltimore; Miss Margaret Runkles, Washington D.C.; Mrs. Doris J. Bevediot(sic), Baltimore; two grandsons, William R. Moxley, Baltimore; Jay Slusher Runkles at home; four great-grandchildren, Marcia L. Long, Marlene E. Long, Edmund J. Long III and Christopher S. Long. Mrs. Long was a life-long member of Mount Tabor Lutheran Church, Rocky Ridge. Friends may call at the home of her daughter, 519 Grant Place, on Tuesday from 2 to 9 p.m. Private funeral services will take place there on Wednesday at 2 p.m. Rev. Nevin E. Smith, formerly of this vicinity, now residing in Hagerstown, will officiate. Interment will be in Mt. Tabor Cemetery, Rocky Ridge. M. R. Etchison and Son, funeral directors."
