Mrs. J. C. Jacobs passed away at her home in Texhoma Friday night, July 26, after a brief illness. Funeral services were held Sunday at 2: 00 o'clock at the Baptist church by the Rev Dodd, local pastor, and in his service he paid eloquent tribute to this mother, who will be so sadły missed in the home and church circle. Mrs. Jacobs was untiring in her work for the church and was, until illness prevented her attendance, a regular attendant at all church services. She was the mother of two sons and two daughters, also seven grandchildren, who, with her husband, J. G. Jacobs, are left to mourn the passing of a mother and wife. Three sisters and two brothers and a mother, Mrs. Westcott.
