Clay County, Kentucky Court Session June 1820: Ordered that Joshua Etherton be appointed Surveyor of the road from mouth of Wild Cat to where the Salts Works road crosses Harts Branch. In 1829 he was appointed commissioner to divide the real estate of William Pogers into nine parts. This William Rogers was the father of Catherine, his daughter-in-law, wife of his son John.
