Marjorie Carolyn Huddleston, 41, died Wednesday, February 7, 1979, at the Taylor County Hospital. She was a native of Taylor County born here June 9, 1937, the daughter of the late Gilbert and Edna Walls Gribbin. Mrs. Huddleston was a member of the First United Methodist Church, a resident of 202 Gowdy St., and an employee of Union Underwear. Survivors include her husband: Kenneth Huddleston of Campbellsville; five sons: Rodger Huddleston of Jamestown, Tony Huddleston, Jim Huddleston, Mark Huddleston, and Kent Huddleston, all of Campbellsville; two daughters: Mrs. Sandra Hoosier and Miss Nancy Huddleston, both of Campbellsville; one brother: Mr. Dennis Gribbin of Liberty; one sister: Mrs. Katherine Swafford of Liberty; and three grandchildren. Funeral services were held at 2 p.m., Friday, February 9, at the Lyon Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Richard Ramsey officiating. Interment followed in the Brookside Cemetery. Gilbert Roy Gribbins, 68, died at his residence in Campbellsville on Monday, November 10, 1975. He was a native of Taylor County born here July 13, 1907, the son of the late Henry and Sarah Jane Gribbins. He was united in marriage with Edna Walls, who preceded him in death December 25, 1957. Mr. Gribbins is survived by one son: Dennis Gribbins of Rt. 1, Dunnville; and two daughters: Mrs. Katherine Swafford of Rt. 5, Liberty, and Mrs. Kenneth Huddleston of Campbellsville; one brother: Herman Gribbins of Bradfordsville; eight grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. Funeral services were held from the Lyon Funeral Home Chapel at 2 p.m. Wednesday, November 12, with the Rev. Phil Porter of the Bible Baptist Church officiating. Interment followed in the old Liberty Cemetery at Bradfordsville. The funeral of Mrs. Edna Walls Gribbins, 46, Route 5, Campbellsville, was at Lyon Funeral Home at 2 p.m. Thursday, December 26, with Dr. Chester Badgett and the Rev. Calvin Mouser officiating. Burial was in the Old Liberty Cemetery in Marion County. Mrs. Gribbins died at 1:30 a.m., Wednesday, December 25 at Kentucky Baptist Hospital, Louisville. She had been ill for several years. Survivors are her husband, Gilbert Ray Gribbins; her father, Rubin Walls; two daughters, Mrs. Catherine (Garnett) Christie, Campbellsville, and Mrs. Carolyn (Kenneth) Huddleston, Campbellsville, and a son, Dennis Michael Gribbins, Route 5, Campbellsville; a brother, Charlie Walls, Bradfordsville; three sisters, Mrs. Hazel Gribbins, Lebanon, Mrs. Ancil Cox, Spurlington, and Mrs. Marion May, Bradfordsville; and two grandchildren.
