Funeral services for Herbert L. Hulsey, 39, who died Saturday at 7 p.m., were held from the First Methodist church at 3 p.m. Sunday with the Rev. Lloyd Mottley and the Rev. G. E. Camster officiating. Burial was in Van Alstyne cemetery, directed by Fox-Fanning.
The deceased was born Dec, 27, 1897, at Anna and was married in Dec, 1927 to Miss Dess McLain. He was a member of the Christian church.
Surviving are his widow, two sons, Jimmy Lee and Lowe Hulsey Jr., his parents, Mr. and Mrs. J. M. Husley of Van Alstyne; and the following brothers and sisters: F. B. Hulsey and Mrs. Wade Canada of Van Alstyne, Bill Hulsey of Sherman, Mrs. Helen Enochs of Brownsfield, Mrs. Ben Savage and Ms. Gordon Joslin of Grand Saline.
