Bruce Isaacs Dies, Tuesday
Bruce M. Isaacs, 80, Brownstown R1, died suddenly at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the home of Oscar Anderson, near Surprise.
Funeral services will be conducted at 1:30 p.m. Friday from Voss Chapel and at 2 p.m. from Cortland Christian Church. Burial in Acme Cemetery.
Friends may call after 7 p.m. today at the Voss Mortuary.
Born on January 31, 1886, in this county, he was the son of the late Jesse and Eliza Wheeler Isaacs. He was married in 1917 to Leoma Allman, who preceded him in death on January 2, 1963.
Survivors include eight children, Marvin and Marshall Isaacs, both of Cortland; Donald and Jack Isaacs, bot of Seymour; Mrs. Marilyn Malone, Beech Grove; Mrs. Ruth Baker, Indianapolis; a step-daughter, Mrs. Nona Greathouse, Columbus; two brothers, Clarence Isaacs, Freetown; Meade Isaacs, Indianapolis; a sister, Mrs. Dora Bergdoll, Indianapolis; 21 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
