Dorothy Jo Barber, age 80, of Texarkana, Texas, died Wednesday, February 27, 2013 at her residence.
Mrs. Barber was born January 20, 1933 in Texarkana, Texas.
She was retired from Oaklawn Bank, Rags to Riches and Alexander's Jewelers. She was a volunteer at St. Michael Hospital and was a member of the Centre West Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by a son, Harrell Barber.
Survivors include her husband, W. T. "Chief" Barber of Texarkana, Texas; one son Bill Barber Jr.; one brother, Jay Zachry; four grandchildren, Wayne Barber, Matt Barber, Kody Barber, Lori Sherrill; two sisters-in-law, Martha McConnell, Sue Simmons; eleven great grandchildren and a number of other relatives.
Private Burial will be in Hillcrest Memorial Park.
