"Jr." Baer and wife Teri, Linda Sines and husband James, Fay Hajel and husband William, Carol Kemp and husband Kerry, all of Meyersdale; Kathy Bowman, Frostburg, MD; grandchildren: Vicki Hopkins, Doug Hajel and wife Mandy, David Hajel and wife Kelly, Jennifer Hurl and husband Martin, Angie Brant and husband Mike, Jason Baer, Melissa Kemp, Matthew Kemp and Jes Bowman and companion Tabatha; great grandchildren: Abigail Hopkins, Ella, Lily and Charlee Hajel, Halle Hajel, Hannah Brant, Jacob and McKenzie Baer, Dillon Kemp, and Zain Bowman.
Also survived by a brother, Jack Baer, Vineland, NJ.
He was a U.S. Navy veteran and a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church, Pocahontas. He loved being in the outdoors, listening to country music, and playing the guitar. He will be sadly missed by his family. A heartfelt thank you to the staff at Golden Living Center for their compassionate care they gave Ray during his stay.
Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Price Funeral Home, Meyersdale. Funeral Mass will be conducted at 11 a.m. Friday at SS Philip and James Catholic Church, Meyersdale. Rev. James M. Dugan officiating. Committal Greenville Union Cemetery.
