Jacob Resseguie - born Aug. 14, 1719, married Mary Curtis, of Stratford, Conn. (perhaps the daughter of Nathan Curtis and Eunice Judson-Curtis). She died, March 17, 1797, aged 77 years. He died Dec. 27, 1801. They lived in Ridgefield. By his will, made March 13, 1799, and probated, Jan. 28, 1802, he bequeathed to his daughter, Mary {Resseguie}-Burt, five shillings; to his daughter Hannah, 60 Pounds, the remainder to be divided equally between his two sons, Jacob and Alexander. His estate inventoried at $2,233.27 {in 1801}.
