Martha Louise Blayney Hamler, 82, died Friday [June 1, 1979] at 11:33 AM in St. Elizabeth Hospital. She had been in ill-health six months and a patient in the hospital since May 18. A native of Alexis, IL, she was reared at Galesburg and Rock Island, IL, and attended Chicago University. She lived a number of years at Grand Rapids, MI, before moving to Lafayette two years ago. In 1920, she married Harold W. Hamler, who is a retired clothing and furniture salesman. Surviving with her husband is a daughter, Marjorie (Mrs. Dutch) VanIwaarden of Lafayette.
