Billy "Bill" Reed Mann, Sr., 72, went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday night, July 30, 2003
The funeral will be held at Christ Wesleyan church on Saturday, August 2 at 10 a.m. with Dr. Keith Carroll officiating and interment to follow at Green Hill Cemetery.
He leaves behind his loving wife of 47 years, Doralene H. Mann; daughters, Linda Mann of Greensboro and Susan M. Heafner and husband Alex of Cartersville, Va.; son, Billy R. Mann, Jr. of Greensboro; and grandchildren, Elizabeth and Samuel Heafner, along with extended family and beloved friends. Bill was a retired produce manager of A&P Food Stores for which he worked 38 years and Bestway Food Stores for five years. He was a faithful member of Christ Wesleyan Church and a member of the McCluskey bible class.
