Daughter of James Going (1780 - 1839) and Abigail Hill

She married Abel Derby (her sister Almira married his brother Andrew Derby), as his second wife, on 8 Aug 1833 in Fitchburg, Massachusetts. She and Abel had a child:

In 1850 she lived in Fitchburg, Massachusetts with her husband, daughter and a boarder. Her husband was called a "jobber."

In 1855 and 1865 she lived in Fitchburg, Massachusetts with husband, daughter and her widowed mother, who was deaf. Her husband was a butcher and meat dealer.

In 1870 she lived in Fitchburg with husband, daughter and a boarder.

She died of tuberculosis at 64, 4 months, 14 days.
