Tommy Joe Holt, age 81, of Dandridge, passed away, Wednesday, February 27, 2013 at the Johnson City Medical Center. He was a veteran having served in the United States Army. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Kathy Jo Holt Burgess; parents, Manning and Addie Holt; brothers Coy Holt and Judge Holt; sisters, Varnie Lane, Mary Cody, Bedia Fox, Sarah Thornton, Georgia Lovelace, Nora Fain, Ruby Williamson and Helen Putman. He is survived by his wife, Olivene Holt of Dandridge; son-in-law, Bill Burgess of Knoxville; grandchildren, Pam and Greg Anderson of Walland, Jayson and Amanda Burgess of Knoxville; great-grandchildren, Vance, Trinity, Alayna and Kylee Anderson, Tylan, Brenner and Reed Burgess; also several nieces, nephews and other family and friends, Graveside services will be held 2:00 pm Saturday, March 2, 2013 at Resthaven Memorial Mausoleum, with Jerry Burgess officiating.
