STUARTS DRAFT Vesta Beatrice Key Marshall, 76, of View Drive, went to be with her Lord and Savior at 3:30 a.m. on Wednesday, February 27, 2013. She was born on December 30, 1936, in Arkansas, a daughter of the late Eugene and Sylvia Patton Key. She retired from the housekeeping department of Shenandoah Nursing Home and was an active member of Crossroads Baptist Church until her health declined. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Harry Louis Marshall; and three sisters, Gladys Boggs, Ann McVey and Mary Jean Roberson. Survivors include a son, Michael Dale Marshall and wife, Shirley, of Stuarts Draft; a daughter, Stacy Matheny and husband, Mark, of Stuarts Draft; five grandchildren, Kristopher Marshall, Jeremiah Marshall and wife, Jaime, Matthew Marshall and wife, Whitney, Laura Talley and husband, Josh, and Ashley Matheny; and eight great- grandchildren. A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, March 1, 2013, at the Waynesboro Chapel of Reynolds Hamrick Funeral Homes by Pastor David Chappell. Burial will follow at Augusta Memorial Park. Active pallbearers will be Jeremiah and Matthew Marshall, Charles Cranford, Eddie Groome, Tommy Hoy Jr. and H.D. Kidd. Honorary pallbearers will be Kristopher Marshall, family and friends attending the service. The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 p.m. on Thursday, February 28, 2013, at the funeral home.
