Obituary - EDWARD GEORGE MEYER . 66, of Riverhead, formerly of Patchogue, died Tuesday after an extended illness. Born in New York city, he was retired from the trucking business. Mr. Meyer was active in county political circles, and was a charter and honorary member of the Holtsville Fire department. He is survived by a son, Frederick of Medford; four daughters, Mrs. Caroline Walsh, Mrs. Alma Leonard and Mrs. Annabelle Regula, all of Riverhead, and Mrs. Martha Uehlinger of Patchogue, and 12 grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at the Pettit Funeral home, Patchogue, at 2 p. m. today. Interment will follow in Cedar Grove cemetery, Patchogue.
