Mrs. Schoeberlein Rites Saturday

Mrs. Flora R. Schoeberlein of 317 Warham St. died yesterday at a local nursing home. A life resident of Syracuse, she was active in Republican clubs more than 50 years. She was a member of the 3rd Ward Women's Republican Club, of which she was former vice chairman, and the Onondaga County Women's Republican Club. She also was a member of the DAR, McChesney Community Club, the Bona Fide OES Chapter and Lutheran Church of the Resurrection. Surviving are her husband, George A. Schoeberlein; a son, George A. Schoeberlein Jr. of Sarasota, Fla.; two granddaughters and three great-grandchildren. Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday in Lutheran Church of the Resurrection. Burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery. Calling hours will be 7 to 9 p.m. today and 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. tomorrow at Frasier-Shepardson Funeral Home, 1217 N. Salina St. Contributions may be made to the Heart Association.
