Agatha Jessie Bombard, 65, Bangor, died Friday at Alice Hyde Medical Center, Malone.

Miss Bombard was a nurse's aide at Alice Hyde Hospital, Malone, and then was an X-ray technician in Malone, Saranac Lake and Syracuse before returning to the Malone hospital in 1964. She was an X-ray technician and medical imaging department manager for 35 years, retiring in 1999.

Born Jan. 25, 1937, in Bangor, daughter of Harold W. and Gwendolyn A. French Bombard, she graduated from Brushton High School in 1955.

She was a member of Bangor United Methodist Church and enjoyed traveling, reading and crocheting.

Surviving besides her father are two brothers, Kendrick E. and William Bombard, both of Malone, five nieces and nephews, and 10 great- nieces and great-nephews.

The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Monday at Spaulding Funeral Home, Malone, with the Rev. Tom Davis officiating. Burial will be in West Bangor CemeteryFRENCH
