Evada H. Schrader, 90, of Clifton Park, NY, formerly of Liverpool, passed away peacefully on Monday at Ellis Residential and Rehabilitation Center in Schenectady. Evada was born in Hemphill, Texas to the late Napoleon and Lorena Hilbert. She was 20 years old when she met and married her husband and moved to Oswego, NY. Evada was a very hard working woman and retired from General Electric. Her passions in life were the Order of the Eastern Star where she attained the high office of Grand Color Bearer, and the Daughters of the Nile. She was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church. She loved to travel and took many trips with her loving grandson, Kevin. She was predeceased by her husband, Paul Schrader in 1972. Surviving to cherish her memory are her daughter, Paula J. (Donald) Flanders; devoted grandson, Kevin M. Clark; great-grandson, Kevin Paul Clark; six stepgrandchildren and eight stepgreat-grandchildren. Funeral services will be conducted on Friday at 10 a.m. at the Maurer Funeral Home. Spring interment will be held at Riverside Cemetery in Oswego. Calling hours will be held on Thursday from 4 to 7 p.m. at the funeral home, 300 Second St., Liverpool. The family would like to give special thanks to the Ellis Center in Schenectady for their excellent care of Evada, and also to Dr. Toll and Dr. Liebers.
