Ella M. Blount, 74, of Woodpecker Lane, Mannsville, died Tuesday at home.
Born in Adams, she attended Ellisburg and Mannsville schools. She and her husband operated dairy farms in the Ellisburg area for many years. She was an ordained minister with the Apostolic Church of God since 1959. She was pastor of the Mannsville Full Gospel Church for several years, and taught Spanish, art and music at Apostolic Christian Academy for five years.
Survivors: Her husband, Derrill E.; three sons, Derrill Jr. of Nobleton, Fla., Steven of Mannsville and Andy of Tampa, Fla.; four daughters, Theresa Shear of Massena, Patricia O'Connor and Donna Boulter, both of Bartow, Fla., and Linda Tanner of Ludowici, Ga.; three sisters, Laurentine Rogers of Beaverton, Ore., Mary Gingerich of Marilla and Clara McGhee of Summerfield, Fla.; four brothers, Victor of Summerfield, Fla., Ivan of Wellsville, Allen of Sandy Creek and David of Mannsville; 18 grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren.
Services: 10:30 a.m. Saturday in Mannsville Full Gospel Church. Burial, Ellisburg Cemetery. Calling hours, 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday at Carpenter-Stoodley Funeral Home, Belleville.
