"...My mother’s Bible has Mollie listed along with her parents and siblings names. In the June 3 1880 13th Civil District, Marion County,TN Census,page 5 her family is listed. She was born six months later on 23 Dec 1880. In the 1900 14th Civil District, Marion Co TN Census, page 15 Mary A (Mollie) is living with her mother and siblings. On the previous page 14 future husband Ben Allen (widowed) and daughter Myrtle are living with his parents Newton and Lucinda. 1910 12th Civil District, Franklin Co, TN Census, page 16 lists Ben, Mollie, Myrtle, Gladys, Lemuel (Leonard), Anderson (Hugh) and Lula May. Two houses down are her brother George and his family; on page 17 are my grandparents Lon and Carrie (Clara).
She is not buried in the Hooker Cemetery as indicated on Find A Grave, but in the Tennessee Georgia Memorial Park, Section B, Lot 151, Grave 5. I have a copy of the Cemetery Burial Record. Her husband Benjamin H Allen’s Obituary states that he was buried in the Hooker Cemetery, but his body was removed and buried along side Mollie. I’m guessing when Mollie died, but that is must my opinion. I also have a copy of the Cemetery Burial Record stating that Ben’s body was removed from Hooker Cemetery, but no date is listed. He is in Section B, Lot 151, Grave 4. Their daughter Ruth and son Hugh Anderson are also buried in the same Lot...."
